That day, many years ago, I sat on the passenger’s side of my aunt’s car and tilted the mirror so as to see my fine face. It’d had been a hectic day and I needed to be sure that I was still maintaining beauty. Satisfied with what I saw reflected back at me in the mirror, I proceeded to fiddle with my phone as I waited for my aunty to finish her “service-after-service” meetings in the church hall. Not long afterwards, she was back in the car and started it. As she tried to pull out of the car park, she noticed it.
